Victoria Miniatures Bushfire Fundraiser Update Jan 20.
Hello,
It was only ten days ago that I launched this fundraiser, and the response has been fantastic. We have raised over $14,000 USD. As I write, a total of $20,000 AUD has been transferred to the RSPCA South Australia.
The incredible response has stretched us, so there will be some delays in fulfillment, but we are working hard to get all orders dispatched as soon as possible.
We will be continuing the Fundraiser through to the end of January. There is still plenty of time to get on board if you are able.
Please share, and thank you so, so much. The response has really given hope, in a difficult time.

Victoria Miniatures Bushfire Fundraiser Update Jan 17.
Hi,
Thank you to everyone for helping with Vic Minis Bushfire Fundraiser. Your outpouring of support has far exceeded my expectations, and continues to do so. It has stretched us, but we are still intending to keep it going until the end of January, so there is plenty of time to jump in if you are able.
I can confirm today that $15,000 AUD has been transferred and received by RSPCA South Australia. Kate Jones, Development Coordinator RSPCA SA, has has asked me to pass on a message of appreciation to you, which I have posted below. She has also sent me photos taken this week on Kangaroo Island, showing the work your efforts are helping to support.
Sincerest thanks,
Vx

Victoria Miniatures Bushfire Fundraiser Update Jan 14.
Greetings,
Today we hit the amazing mile stone of $10,000 USD, and still rising!
I have spoken with the RSPCA South Australia, they are very excited about what you have all achieved. In the interest of getting the funds to where they are sorely needed ASAP, I have transferred the first instalment of $10,000 AUD, to their Bushfire Fund. Further installments will follow in the coming days.
If you want to see some of the hard work The RSPCA SA is doing on the ground right now, you can check out their Facebook page.
The community support has far exceeded our expectations. It has also stretched our fulfillment capacity. Here in Adelaide, South Australia and together with our US friends at Trench Worx, we are filling orders as quickly as we can. Trench Worx are also bringing some extra casting capacity online to accommodate the demand.
Some orders may be slow to dispatch, but please bear with us. We always make sure our customers get their minis. It may just take a little longer in this case.
Thank you again, to the wonderful Hobby community for your incredible support.

Victoria Miniatures Bushfire Fundraiser Update Jan 12.
Hi,
Just a quick update today. I am thrilled to let you know that we have passed $10,000 AUD ($7,000 USD) Over 140 Kangaroo APC’s have been sold.
This is more than I ever hoped for, and continue to be absolutely blown away by the generosity, enthusiasm and support that has been so kindly given.
I could not be more proud to be a part of this wonderful Hobby Community.
Tomorrow (Monday) I will talk with the South Australian RSPCA and let them know where we are at, and discuss how/when they would like the funds transferred.
Together with our US friends at Trench Worx, are all continuing to work as hard as we can to get resin cast, orders out the door and messages answered.
Again, thank you with all my heart,
V

OMG! I could not believe it when I checked our sales this morning. At the time or writing, we have sold 86 Bushfire Kangaroo APC’s. In less than 24 hours, you amazing people have raised an incredible $4,300 USD (over $6000 AUD).
I am absolutely blown away with the generosity and good will of the wonderful Miniature Hobby community. I can only say ‘Thank you, thank you, thank you’ with all my heart, to everyone who has purchased, donated, shared or told their friends about our ‘little’ fundraiser.
I started this yesterday with 150 Kangaroo APC’s on hand, thinking it would be more than enough to easily get us through to the end of the month. I am delighted to have been completely wrong.
Looking at how to keep going forward with this, I have just had a talk with our brilliant casting experts at Trench Worx in Utah. Creating hand cast resin kits is a time-consuming process. Yet, these lovely folks, have committed to doing everything they can to keep the fundraiser going. I can’t thank our US friends enough, for the passion, skills, extra time and resources they are happily contributing. It would not be possible without them.
So, please everyone, keep sharing, keep supporting. We are deeply moved by what you have achieved. We also are a little overwhelmed, but bear with us, we are doing all we can to get orders shipped and enquiries answered asap.
I will look at getting the initial collected funds transferred to the RSPCA early next week. I will keep everyone informed as we go.
Thank you,
V xxxxx
Hello hobby friends,
Most of you will be aware of the tragic bush fire crisis ongoing in Australia. I thank those of you who have checked in to see if we are ok at Victoria Miniatures. We are located in the southern metropolitan suburbs of Adelaide, so aside from smoke, we are not directly affected.
However, my home state of South Australia has been impacted. At the time of writing, the worst of it is on Kangaroo Island. In addition to the tragic loss of homes and human life, the devastation of pristine wilderness, unique native animals, farm and livestock is utterly overwhelming.
Therefore, I am seeking to do what I can to raise funds for the South Australian RSPCA (Royal Society for the Protection of Animals).
For every Kangaroo APC kit sold during January, Victoria Miniatures, in conjunction with our resin caster's at Trench Worx will donate $50.00 USD (around $73.00 AUD) to the RSPCA.
Each Kangaroo APC sold during this period will also include a free pre-release Hedgerow Cutter. A kangaroo purchase will also qualify for a free miniature of the month of your choice.
If you would prefer to donate directly to an Australian Bush Fire charity of your choice, here are some helpful links. Every little bit counts.
Please help share with your hobby friends

FAQ.
Why choose the Kangaroo APC?
My first thought was to create a special miniature, but that would take weeks to get into production. The Kangaroo APC is a popular kit that I have on hand, and can work with immediately. It’s a great quality piece, designed by Jake Schneider. Given the fundraiser is for animals the name also seemed appropriate.
I don’t want a Kangaroo APC, can I contribute some other way?
Sure, see the links above to make a donation to the charity of your choice, every little bit helps.
Will Victoria Miniatures profit from this?
No. The Kit sells for $64.99. We will donate $50.00. The remaining $14.99 is not enough to cover our production costs.
Do I have to pay shipping?
Our usual shipping charges apply. Any order over $100 USD qualifies for free world wide shipping.
How do I know the money has been donated to the RSPCA?
I will post screenshots and share any correspondence from the RSPCA including receipts. Both here and on my social media channels.
When will the money raised be donated?
I want the RSPCA to receive the funds as soon as possible so intend to do it weekly, depending on sales. I will post screenshots here and on our social media channels.
I have another question.
